Fresh Meadow Golf Club in Hillside, IL is home to a Team Midwest affiliate coached by Jake Thurm. Coach Thurm runs Developmental II, Future Stars, Pre Elite, and Elite at this location.

Coach Thurm was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. He played golf throughout college, graduating from Millikin University with a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology. He was personally trained by Dr. Jim Suttie, the Golf Digest #1 teacher in Illinois and 2000 PGA National Teacher of the Year. Jake is the Director of Instruction and Assistant General Manager at The Learning Center at Fresh Meadow in Hillside, IL. He also operates his golf school at the Athletico Golf Performance Center in Oak Brook, IL during the winter. Coach Thurm was named "America's Best Young Teachers" by Golf Digest.
